MAGAZINE AD

Mag Ad:

We had to create a magazine ad alone and on a page with other black and white ads. This tested us to see how we could show off our company and its brand in black and white while promoting what we are selling.

This project was the easiest one but also difficult since black and white can be real harsh when trying to find good contrast photos.

RESEARCH & BRAINSTORMING

PREP WORK:

I didn't do research for this project since I was rushing it, but I did brainstorm some headlines since that was the most important part in conveying what my company is.

THUMBNAILS

THUMBNAILS:

These thumbnails were more like sketches now that I look at them, but they helped me figure out the direction I wanted to go. I really liked the idea of giant text over a photograph, so the third thumbnail I ended up going with stylistically.

B&W PROGRESSIONS

PROGRESSIONS:

I didn't have many progressions since I didn't change this a whole lot. Now looking at it I should have since I see things I want to fi now, but it's too late. I just ended uo filling in the outline under " your" and changing the location and size of the logo and information.
